Stats in the Ukraine

Stats in the Ukraine

Guys,

It’s World Series time and I hope you are enjoying it. One thing about baseball is that they sure rely on stats. As you perhaps consider the many cities in Ukraine as destinations, I thought I would help.

Please understand a few things up front. The AFA stats are fluid day to day. That’s because profiles come and go on a regular basis. The stats I will give you are current today. We all love stats and they can be helpful, but here is something to consider.

The girl of your dreams could be from any city. I have learned this firsthand as well as by observing guys that have had success over the years. Although I present the stats for the Ukraine, because I am most familiar with this country, this reality can be applied to any of the many countries AFA offers you.

As an example, what is the best city in the US? A silly question of course, as it depends on who you ask. The same is true among the great countries offered by AFA.

However, there is clearly a difference between a large, exciting city and a smaller, cozy town, depending on your preference. AFA offers both. So, that being said, here are your stats.

Total population of Ukraine – over 45 million.

Number of AFA profiles – 12,063 (I have seen it considerably higher)

Cities in Ukraine in order.

Kiev – Population – 2.8 million. Number of AFA profiles – 2,004

Kharkov (the ‘K’ is silent) – 1.4 million. Profiles – 672

Odessa – 1 million. Profiles – 907

Nikolayev – 491 thousand. Profiles – 2139

Kherson – 295 thousand. Profiles – 581

Poltava – 289 thousand. Profiles – 944

AFA maintains permanent offices in Kiev, Odessa, Nikolayev and Poltava. They rely on dozens of trusted affiliates in other cities.

I hope that this is useful to you. My advice? Choose the tour that meets your schedule and finances and book an Open Reservation for only $495. It is good for any tour at any time. The AFA tours always include larger and smaller locations to everyone’s satisfaction.

Best of luck,

Bob

90 Day Fiancée – TLC

90 Day Fiancée – TLC

Guys,

Here is a follow up to my recent post about this program as well as some valuable lessons for you. This show, like most, is interested in drama to keep you watching. That way you will observe their commercial sponsors.  However, this helps your mission very little. Actually, it will tell you what NOT to do.

Most of the couples you have met in my earlier post. What is interesting is that there are two American women applying for a guy!

You met Alexi and Loren in the last post. Because his visa in not yet approved, they flew to Canada to meet her parents.

They are going to have to move in with her parents in a condo in Florida. Her dad has concerns about him breaking her heart. Money will be very tight, including the cost of the visa. Alexi is very unsure about the living arrangements. It is unbelievable that he did not understand that the visa would only be for 90 days.

The situation with Mark and Niki is worse due to the 43 year age difference. Not only that, but he did the exact same thing 22 years ago in the same city in the Philippines with another girl who left him with 4 kids. His family has never seen her and he did not announce his engagement beforehand. Mark is very anal. For example he gets very upset when she touches his car window and leaves a mark. His unrealistic hope will be that his daughter, Elsie and her will be good friends. The problem is that Elise knows nothing about her and is two years older.

In this episode we meet Kyle, a 28 year old bartender in New Orleans and Noon, a 26 year old from Bangkok, Thailand. Kyle lives in a rundown bachelor pad with his roommate Bryan. There is no indication that he will move out and the small apartment is a real mess.

He met Noon on social media.

There is a lot that Noon does not know about his Bourbon Street lifestyle and very messy living conditions.

Things are very difficult for Alexandra since she gave up her dancing and drinking lifestyle and converted to the Mormon Church for Josh. She will live with his grandmother until the wedding with an 11 PM curfew.

They had a birthday party for her. The family, especially his dad, were shocked when she described a typical Russian wedding with alcohol and dancing.

In the case of Devar and Melanie, I can offer some insight. I live in rural Pennsylvania and I have been to Jamaica. I think that Devar will be shocked by the snowfall and lack of a beach. Also I think Melanie is not only seeking a husband, but a stepdad for her son, Hunter. I think she only sees him on weekends. I wonder about his biological father.

Well, there are other couples for you to meet. But here are the lessons.

Take your time! Many of these couples got engaged right away. You need to know as much as possible about each other.

Have a reasonable age difference.

Make certain that there will be enough money and support – you must live together, not with parents and certainly not with a roommate!

If there is a child involved, fine. Just be certain that you are marrying for love, not as a stepparent.

Enjoy the rest of the episodes and remember, these couples made a lot of mistakes. Be certain that you learn from them.

Remember, what they did right was they actually met in person. Stop writing endless letters and book a tour!

I wish you well.

Bob

A Personal True Story with A Great Lesson for You

A Personal True Story with A Great Lesson for You

Guys,

I hesitate to reveal this, but it’s too important for your success. It has to do with endless, meangiless letters. I know that you have heard this from John Adams and myself, but it is so true. I know the compulsion to write letters to the beautiful women on loveme.com is very strong, however if you think seriously about it and take John’s advice, it makes no sense. You know that a letter can never take the place of a meeting.

So, here is my story. On my first romance tour to Odessa, Nikolayev and Kherson I found myself with no plans in Nikolayev after the social. The manager was very kind. I causally pointed to a beautiful “banner girl” on the site. The manager said she knew her well and offered to call her on my behalf. I was astounded. She made the call and I had a date! I could not believe it. This girl was not a “10”, but a “12” in the states!

We met for coffee and I asked her some questions. Here is the lesson.

I asked how long she been registered with A Foreign Affair. She said three years!

I asked if she received many letters. She said hundreds and due to the ridiculous nature in them she just deleted them. She was a pharmacist and worked sixty hours a week and had no time to read and respond.

I then asked how many guys she had actually met. SHE SAID I WAS THE SECOND!

Although it did not work out between us, I will never forget it. Please, please stop writing endless letters and do yourself a big favor. Book an open reservation. It is not expensive and is good for any tour at any time. If you have made a decision book an upcoming tour. You will never be sorry and it is the only way to make your dreams come true.

I wish you well.

Interesting Perception about Child Custody and Money

Interesting Perception about Child Custody

Guys,

Here is an actual quote from an attractive Ukrainian girl concerning her confusion about American men and child custody and legal fees. I hope this helps you single dads, as I was at one time. I think that it speaks to the admiration Ukrainian women (as well as other countries AFA travels to) have for American single dads. In Ukraine, single moms abound. Food for thought.

Bob

“By the way, I read at one Ukrainian magazine about travelling that many men from your country find that after divorce they will lose contact with their children while still being obliged to support their ex-wives financially. About 85% of the children of divorce end-up in the custody of their mothers… and the few children in the custody of their fathers only became so after the father had spent thousands of dollars on legal fees trying to prove why they should be given custody. Please tell me about this situation more. May be it is not true?”

A Great Profile

A Great Profile

Guys,

I regularly browse profiles for your benefit. I do this to better understand the 45,000 profiles that AFA offers. Profiles can be useful or not. Some ladies choose to submit provocative photos to entice you. Often the descriptions are very brief and will not tell you a lot. This is not the fault of AFA. As long as the photos do not border on pornography, the women are free to include them. Every once in a while I encounter a sincere, well-constructed profile. This is one. Not only that, but her photos reveal a real lady. Her name is Svetlana from Nikolaev. Her ID is 158265. Although she may not appeal to you, read her description and use it as a standard when viewing other profiles. Here it is below.

When you finally make a decision, book a tour or open reservation. Best of luck.

Bob

Self Description: So, let’s start our communication and hope that it will lead to something special, something we have never experienced before. I follow my intuition as well. I had a lot of regrets in my past life. But I don’t blame anybody. The reason is that sometimes we are close to a person who is interesting but we don’t understand his or her nature (smile, kiss, passion). We create illusions that people love us. I think it is self-deception. It is a bit difficult for me to describe all my feelings and emotions, so I am not going to go into details. First of all I would like to tell you we have to understand ourselves and know our desires. As far as possible our plans have to come true. We shouldn’t be controlled. I dare say I have a great judge at people’s character for the last ten years. The life taught me. This experience is rather useful. I had a lot of sad events but I didn’t become cruel. I love our beautiful world and all the people around me. I think much of myself. I! understand my value in the society. I am naïve, romantic, tender, love nature, animals and I have good qualities as wisdom. I always try to celebrate great holidays with my family. My family is not very big but we are very united and love each other very much! We always ready to help each other and to give advice for every life situation. And what about your family? I want to know about it very much! To my mind family is very important thing in our life, so we should take care of our close persons! Truly speaking, when I am alone I can’t feel myself bored. To my opinion person should stay alone for some periods. It helps to relax, to think about your life. When I am alone I prefer watching my favorite films. I like comedies very much, they make me feel happy and positive! Also I can read different books, or watch some sport programs. It is very good that a lot of people go in for sports to became healthy and keep them in a good form. So I hope you have learnt some int! eresting facts from my life and I want to know about your livi! ng also. I want to continue our communication very much because I am very interested in you. I am waiting for your reply with a great impatience.

Comments: I am romantic person and I believe in destiny. I think that there is some power which helps us to love and be loved. I want to find this power and use it to be with you. And I have very strong intention to be the second half for man who wants me to be close to him. Look into my eyes and you will read in them how beautiful my soul and inner world is. My soul is full of tenderness, warmth, love and sincerity that I’m ready to share with my only man who will become my true friend and my passionate lover. It is very important for my man to have a serious attitude to the family. I dream to meet my beloved man, my husband. I want us to be honest, sincere and faithful with each other. I shall be the most tender and loving wife in the Space for him. I want us to share and exchange everything we have. I hope that you will answer me and we will start the way to our happiness.

A Special Gift to You from John Adams and Ken Agee

A Special Gift to You from John Adams and Ken Agee

Guys,

My first tour as a client was with John Adams, our CEO. I was later invited to Columbia by Ken Agee, a co-founder. I will always remember these trips. Now it’s your turn from the comfort of your home. Both executives of A Foreign Affair led the 20th Anniversary tour to Medellin, Columbia. There was also a film crew. Both of them went to a great deal of effort to provide you with a “virtual tour”. Once you view both parts, I and II, you will understand how valuable your tour will be. I have provided an outline of the blog for your convenience. You can easily find it on loveme.com. Just scroll down to the “AFA Webcast” icon in blue and enjoy.

Once you view this, you will surely understand all that AFA does to ensure your comfort and success, to say nothing of a great time. Many of your questions will be answered. You will hear from several clients, especially Juan. Pour a cup of coffee and enjoy. The first part is 54 minutes long and the second, 43.

Get off that couch and book a tour to any of the many countries offered by AFA. You will never be sorry. CARPE DIEM!

Bob

Part I.

Idea – book extra days before or after. AFA will help you. The group was very diverse, from all occupations, most not wealthy. You will form lifetime bonds with some of your tour mates as I did.

John provided some stats. The average age of the 20 clients was 43.5 ranging from 26 to 64. Most of the 125 or more women at both socials were in their 20’s or 30’s, some were older.

Each table was numbered with 6 or more ladies at each, nicely decorated with table cloths and flowers. The ladies all received a gift from AFA. This was “speed dating” for the first part of the evening. Each man spent a few minutes meeting the girls at each table. By the time the music and entertainment started, the guys had met all the girls at each social. Each client was assigned a lovely translator selected by the staff. Many clients bonded with a “wing man”.

Before the tour, each client received a useful package containing materials. A conference call is scheduled and all questions are answered. You will be picked up at the airport and taken to the hotel.

Tours start on Thursday. John provided a beautiful panorama of the city. The hotel is one of the finest in the city and each man had his own room.

There was a very valuable orientation on Thursday. Several clients actually had dates on Thursday before the first social!

The hotel, night club (Mi Lupe), AFA office and hundreds of cafes, restaurants and bars are located in the very active city center within walking distance.  No need to pay for a taxi.

Of course a lovely breakfast is included. These are very valuable as the guys will share their experiences the night before.

One benefit was a pep talk from a veteran, Gerald at the orientation. There is nothing like hearing the benefits of a tour from a guy who has been there before.

At the orientation, you will have a chance to meet most of the translators. These are usually English students who speak both languages perfectly. At the social, AFA pays them. However, on your many dates, you will be responsible to pay their $20 an hour cost. I always give them a tip. They more than earn it. After all, they are working on your behalf.

There will be a valuable walking tour later. You will benefit as you will be shown the best places to take a date as well as interesting landmarks that will make you aware of the local culture.

On Friday it will be time for your first social. Since AFA is extremely careful that the girls are clients and are aware of the IMBRA regulation (this is an American law), you will be free to exchange contact information with any lady of interest at the social. Since there will naturally be a line for the ladies to enter, many of the clients took advantage of this and used the opportunity to chat them up before the social even started!

When the girls are at the registration table, their ID is checked against the computer and they are given a welcome gift as well as a name tag. John will show you. Of course AFA will provide security outside.

So, what happens at the social? For the first part, the girls will be seated at a numbered table. The clients visit each table in turn for a few minutes. At the end of this part, you will have met every lady at the social. Then when it is over, the music and entertainment will start and you can spend quality time with any lady you choose. After sitting at one of the 21 tables and chatting with every guy, these girls are ready to dance and party! (While you don’t have to dance, get out there and do your best to move. The girls love it.)

Part II

After the social, you are free to stay and spend time with a lady you have selected. Although AFA reserves the club for the social, once it ends, locals are free to enter. Of course, many men take their date to another location.

A note. Juan’s comments throughout are very valuable as he has been to Ukraine several times and knows the score. (By the way, view “2 Brothers and a Bride”, a feature film about AFA in St. Petersburg as well as “Love Me – The Documentary”. They can be found on Netflix).

After the first social on Saturday, the clients are very active on dates. The office will be happy to help, although many guys already had their plans set.

At about 5 it is time for the second social which will include a different set of women. Both John and Ken agree that the ladies appear much lovelier than their profile photos.

One important thought. AFA is an introduction agency. They will do all they can to put you in front of hundreds of beautiful women. Of course, then it is up to you, although they will do all they can to help.

Often clients will get engaged or married. Naturally, they are under no obligation to let AFA know. They are entitled to their privacy if they wish. However, many do. You will, on occasion, see that a lady has removed her profile because of this. However, each week many more will register.

On Sunday, there will be an interesting bus tour. Many of the clients take dates. John will show you one of these including the prison Pablo Escobar had built for himself. Although those sad days are long over, it is of historical interest. Of course, there are many other sites on the tour including interesting museums.

Monday was a very special day. You see, AFA is not only about international dating. They want to give back to the communities they visit. They have done this for years, all over the world. Orphanages are among the neediest. They not only help orphans, but children with severe disabilities.

Most of the guys make contributions, as does AFA. 100% of the funds are used to help the organizations.

On this occasion, items were purchased from Cosco, as well as a wheelchair and a carpet to cover a dirt floor used for physical therapy. One client, Jim was so moved that he contributed matching funds. Many guys were moved to tears. The 164 kids behaved beautifully, and the staff was excellent and very grateful. Over $2,000 was donated. Not only that but Jim returned!

Note: Please view the panel discussion (#106), John conducted with 5 ladies telling what to do and not do to win a lady’s heart.

As often happens, clients will find that special someone and start the K1 visa process – this was the case of Isaiah, among others. While there is no guarantee for you, it could happen. There is only one way to find out. Stop writing many letters and decide to go on tour and meet them in person. There is no substitute for this. Only 3% of guys do this. Make sure that you are one of them. You will never be sorry.

I hope you enjoyed this blog. Best of luck.

90 Day Fiancée – Some Lessons

90 Day Fiancée – Some Lessons

The lessons?

Take your time and get to know as much as possible about your choice. The fewer questions that occur – the better.

Do not let infatuation carry the day. Think. An old saying – “Marry in haste, regret at leisure. “.

Be certain that the age difference is appropriate. There are exceptions, but they are rare and exceptional.

Tell your family beforehand and let them meet her over Skype. Answer all questions and increase their comfort level.

Keep references to your past at a minimum. Of course, answer any questions she may have.

Be careful about severe changes in her life. She may agree now, but feel very different later.

Well, that’s my take on the program. What is yours? Enjoy.

Bob

90 Day Fiancé – TLC Season 3

90 Day Fiancé – TLC Season 3

Guys,

I mentioned this show earlier. I think there are lessons to be learned about mistakes you can avoid. The new season will air on Sunday evenings at 10 PM EST. Below is a summary of the first show. They will tell the story of six couples trying to get through the process, although only four are in this episode. Remember that the producers want you to be entertained with some drama. What is interesting is that in the case of two of the couples, it is an American woman applying for the K1. Also the partners come from a variety of countries. Let’s meet them:

Devar 28, is from Jamaica, and works as a lifeguard at a resort. Melanie, 33 is a Nurse from Orwigsburg, PA. She has an 11 year old son, Hunter that she sees on weekends. Her son is a top priority, and Hunter has only met Devar on Skype. If Devar is not able to serve as a father figure it will be a deal breaker. She married at 21 and divorced at 26. So she has been alone for seven years. They met at a resort. After 20 days he proposed. The K1 is approved. Her girlfriends, Jen and Krista, are concerned that he is seeking a Green card. They also expressed racial issues as she lives in a rural small town.

Devar has lived with his sisters and supported them. He acts as the man of the house and expects to send money home.

Nikki 19 is from Cebu in the Philippines. Mark, 58 is from Baltimore MD, but lives in Middle River on the water. He has a business that rents out pianos for events. He met Nikki on line with free dating site, and flew to Cebu to meet her. After 2 days they were engaged. He has four children that are older than Nikki.  He didn’t mean to fall in love and doesn’t see her age. His kids are grown and he has an empty house now.

Mark was divorced 27 years ago. His ex is also from Cebu. He raised his kids alone. His ex wanted her independence and was not a care giver. She changed over time and only wanted money spent on her.

His daughter Elise 21, is upset that he didn’t tell anyone except on Facebook. He wants Elise to be friends with Nikki rather than a stepmother.

Alexsandra 21, is from Kirov, Russia. She is living alone due to school in Prague, Czechoslovak. He has large Mormon family. She was a dancer in clubs. Josh 22 doesn’t drink or smoke, and does not believe in pre-marital sex. He is from Rexburg, Idaho. They met while he was on a Mission. They dated after the mission and got engaged. She converted and was baptized. She gave up clubs and dancing. His parents met her in Prague, but she didn’t speak English. However she learned quickly.

Loren, 27 is a NYC Executive Assistant. Her parents treated her like a spoiled Princess. She loves shopping. She attended a Birthright trip for 10 days and met Alexei, 27 a medic, from Israel. After the K1 he can’t work. They will have to move back home to FL with her parents to live. He will meet her family in Canada. She applied for the K1, but it is not approved yet. Her father has serious concerns.

Well, please watch and continue your education through lovme.com, the Monday and Wednesday calls and this blog. When you are ready, book your tour.

Bob
