Trouble in the Ukraine
All of us send our thoughts and prayers to the families of the brave Ukrainians who lost their lives in Kiev.
What does all of this mean to the many clients of AFA who only want to find a life partner? Let’s examine the issue. There is constant political and governmental strive in our world. After all, who really understands our own government which is considered very stable in the world community? We had our own strife only 150 years ago.
My thought is to focus on your mission. Yes, it makes sense to be aware of the constantly changing issues, but at the end of the day it comes down to one man and one woman. As long as there is a US embassy that is able to issue a fiancée or K1 visa a guy can proceed.
There are about 12,000 AFA profiles in the Ukraine. There are 2500 in Russia. I have been to both countries many times. Since they are all Slavic, there is precious difference between the people. This is where we have an advantage.
I have said many times that properly focused expectations and persistence will carry the day. Be strong and have faith. These women seek stability that is typically unavailable in their country.
Be sure to read Bud Patterson’s book and listen to his Monday night calls. The more you know, the better your odds of success. Remember, letters are a tool. They have their use, but nothing will happen until you get on a plane and meet these ladies in person. I have never encountered a successful relationship that was limited to only letters.
One note of caution – life is very difficult in Ukraine, especially now. Inflation and corruption are rampant. Be quite certain that the lady of your choice is interested in you and your life. Of course, they will be happy to move to a stable, safe environment. That’s part of the process.
I wish you the best of luck in your journey. Take care.
